Rajkot Urban Development Authority RUDA is optimistic to soon begin the work on second Ring Road in the city.

The Rajkot Municipal Corporation Commissioner (RMC) and chairman of RUDA Ajay Bhadoo met around 150 farmers of seven villages whose land would be acquired for the construction of new road.

 

According to RUDA officials the second Ring Road would be constructed from Jamnagar Road to Gondal Road and will be 20 km long and 445 meter wide . The Ring road has been divided into two parts. One part is from Jamnagar Road to Kalawad Road and second is Kalawad Road to GOndal Road. The Ring road will pass through Ghnteshwar, Munjka, Mota Mava, Mavdi,Pal Kangishiyali and Vavdi village revenue limit area.  

 

The farmers are ready to give land for the Ring Toad amicably.

The Ring Road will help ease trafiic in the city as well as in the expanding city areas in the western part.

The Ring Road project will be executed on built ,finance, operate and transfer basis.
